Prof. Jefferson Holdridge receives URECA Award at 2018 Founders’ Day Convocation
Professor of English Literature Jefferson Holdridge received the URECA Center’s Award for Excellence in Mentorship at the Wake Forest University Founders’ Day Convocation on Feb. 15, 2018. The URECA Award honors faculty members who have distinguished themselves as excellent mentors of Wake Forest undergraduate scholars.
The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (URECA) Center honors two faculty members each year with this award, one in the arts and humanities, and another in the sciences or social sciences. The award recognizes those faculty who share their passion for scholarship and creative activities, and who encourage and inspire their students to work closely with them. Recipients can be nominated by faculty or students.
